About Me

I have over 20 years of experience capturing breathtaking moments of wildlife in their natural habitats. I was born and raised at the bottom of the South Island of New Zealand, and a lot of my photography is still from that region.

My true passion is native New Zealand birds and mammals. Often unappreciated, and many endangered or threatened, these totally unique creatures tell a story of resilience and hope. My goal is to document all wildlife with the least amount of disturbance, ensuring that their natural behaviours are respected and preserved. The images I create are not only a reflection of my love of wildlife, but also my dedication to minimizing my ecological footprint. Unless stated, all my photos are of birds and animals in their natural and wild setting.
